Steam cloud sync issue

The Steam does not synchronize the game's local files with the cloud. So every time I play I get an error message and I have to start over with the tutorial mode.

It looks like you don't have permission to read or write to the save directories under C:\Users\Cake\Documents\Dry Cactus\Poly Bridge 2

What version of Windows are you running on? It's odd that you wouldn't be able to read/write to that directory.

Try running the game as Administrator:

Right click the game in your Steam Library.
Go to Properties then the Local Files tab.
Click Browse Local Files.
Locate the game executable (the application).
Right click it and go to Properties.
Click the Compatibility tab.
Check the Run this program as an administrator box.
Click Apply.

Thanks for the reply. I use Win10. Unfortunately it did not help. All my other games work normally in the steam. I would really like the Poly Bridge 2 to work properly again.

The root problem is the game thinks you don't have permission to read or write files to the save location like:

Are you able to copy a test file into C:\Users\Cake\Documents\Dry Cactus\Poly Bridge 2\Profiles?

You can use any file on your computer -- just want to see if there is any errors if you try to copy anything to that directory.

I understand. I tried it. Of course it works. Copy, delete, rename. Everything works normally.
