Not sure what to do in Autumn Village

So I got a key but it doesnt open the dungeon/ sewers yet. I repaired the area where the key lead and now i have two boxes in the area, one for wood and one for stone. It seems no matter how much I put in, nothing happens and it shoes 1 material missing out of the 3 they all show.

Does anyone have a clue on what to do to get past this point? Ive been grinding in game for days and no changes to the town either.

You can see your current main objectives by hitting L1/L on the controller or hitting M with keyboard. The objectives will be on the left side of the screen. Which one are you on?

Wait, how did you get the Wooden Deposit box?

So it is time based!! I finally got the villagers to tell me the path is FINALLY Cleared. I had 0 objectives showing so it confused me. I came to the village, fixed the sickle and then i did some basic things/ talked to construction to setup tell me to set a box down near the item show under the sewer path and get the materials for it which the next day got me the wood and stone deposit boxes. Then I threw stuff into them nonstop for about 6 days straight and now the path is finally opened. Whew that took ages

I'm utterly confused, I feel like we're playing 2 different games. I still don't have the wooden deposit box unlocked and I beat the game already.

O_O Woah wat! Yeah I got the wooden and stone deposit box and i needed to give probably x resources to make the trail cleaned up to go to the mayor's to get the sewer key (just got it). How the heck did you progress?? Also the boxes are like still there and i can fill them but i dont even know where the resources go to

you don't need the wood or stone deposit boxes for anything-- they're basically just to serve the purpose of clearing inventory space with a slightly smaller footprint when they're put onto the map. The village storage box is superior as long as you have the space.
You need repair boxes (which take resources) to clear the paths in autumn town, so you're probably getting it mixed up with those.

weirdly i used the repair box but had to wait 4 days straight till the repairs were done :( I reported it to the discord for a possible bug issue
