How to break certain orb bubbles (the ones with the weird spiral damage type)

I am breaking through orbs to upgrade my character and there's like one orb that won't budge. Even after using all my weapons, nothing would break it.

As I was typing this post I thought what if this orb was related to rolling damage and I equipped the proper memory but to no avail. I am pretty much stumped at this point, you can see the image to see if you recognize the weapon needed.

IIRC that damage indicator is rot damage. You need to bait the rot into attacking that orb to break it. I think there was another one like that in Autumn town.

AAh I had a sneaking suspicion, that's just something that was never clarified and needed out of the box thinking. Imo this doesn't even look like rot, what if the symbol was just a cute rot jelly that would have been much easier to figure out lol

Edit: I actually see it now the rot exudes these spirals, but I never thought the two were related
