I am experiencing low fps from the last death quest as well.
Hope this solution may help either who are experiencing the fps and delay issue.

You may need to check where is the game file location.
When you find out it is located on x86 which mean the virtual memory issues.
It happen frequent on rebirth series if you are realize of that.

My solution recommend players copy your game file to desktop and using 4GB patch to attach on the game exe.
Since this is really hardcore bug that never fixed until today, hopefully they can create a update patch to new player who never experience it. Otherwise idea factory will lose their potential client.

And that little AA blur or whatever it is that is on until you change the post-processing setting (and will remain off until you close the game) really isn't helping. Makes the game look low res on 4K sets.
Thanks a lot for your help. I did exactly what you said, and it makes the game playable now at least, and not that slow anymore.
The main issue now is that this keeps happening during certain parts:

Any advice?
Ah, that makes sense. I guess I'll just stick with the default 1080p resolution then, since it still works despite being a bit slow at times. Thanks for clearing it up for me.
Would you mind make a EXE with 2560*1440 or 3072*1728
search
80 07 00 00 C7 45 1B 38 04
80 07 00 00 C7 45 D3 38 04
80 07 00 00 C7 45 D3 38 04
Change that 80 07 and the last 38 04 to your desired resolution
For 1366x768 it's 56 05 for the first 4 digits and 00 03 for the last four digits
here is another exe. this one is for 1280x720 for anyone that needs it. Delete the DragonStarVarnir.ini file to avoid errors starting it up.

I figured it out. And also, here is the link for the modded exe. It will allow for 1366x768. make a backup of your un-modded exe first, then just unzip it to your Dragon Star Varnir\resource\bin folder. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1dkvMnd_JOgDaMswlD8D2LnqG_0JlIXFg/view?usp=sharing By the way, at the beginning of scenes, there is a bit of tearing on the right and bottom side...anyone know how to remedy that?
