How does adding custom songs work now?

Now with the ability to select different songs for a level, and see a song list, is there a way to add songs to the game without overwriting an existing one? Is the process to add custom songs to the game any different? I tried to add one just now and the game just crashes during loading the level.

I am wondering the same thing . It would be nice if devs explained how the process of adding custom songs to the game works now since it has the potential to massively expand it .

You basically have to mod it. In their official servers you'll find all the info about what you need to do in order to add custom songs.

Do not expect a simple "just add the song to the game", you gotta make the mod yourself or download a mod

I'm aware of what the original method of adding songs is/was. I'm asking if the method has been changed, or if it remains the same as it was.

Honestly, adding extra songs yourself to that menu would be an excellent progression from the current system.
