i played it on gamepass and its boring! the music isnt syncronized to your hits or some, it has 0 rytm .. videos looks so false..

it is a normal first personal shooter with metal song behind. for that just go play Doom..

I saw many people who are are ACTUAL musicians that are unable to play this game.
Theres a huge post from a drummer, he is unable to play this game cause of these issues.
Funnily enough, musicians are able to play "Bullet per minutes" but the public don't.
Its interesting tho.

As a rapper, I played on gamepass and I agree with musicians, Its not playable lol. Musicians should stick to making music xD !
[EDIT]: Probably less enjoyable for fast paced musicians !
Its sad, I LOVE the concept tho ! I love the story and all, but as a musician you ALWAYS want "Compete" with the music and not the demons lol. I think that's why its heavily disappointing for musicians !

Unfortunately in my opinion the game is a 3/10 just because of this. Its just numbs your arms repeatingly tapping the button (On an xbox controller) like a Chinese child worker lol...
Its actually extremely bad for the health of your arms !
Idk if it has the same effect with a mouse, haven't tried yet but on an xbox controller its not a good thing to do, The difference between other games AND actually playing music, is that you don't do the same same same "Follow the bass" "movement" like forever !

I KNOW its harsh that I rate it 3/10... Seriously its extremely sad that I do !
I LOVE Metal music, the Dynamic music is AMAZING, The story looks AMAZING, The humour is PERFECT... but the gameplay is toxic... like very toxic.

being a rapper is very similar than being any musicians, you have to hit your rhymes to the beat... and im not mumble rapper who hit to the same flow all the time.
Mixing it up, going melodic, changing style, doing choruses and bridges is extremely important for me.

In Metal Hellsinger, the issue is that... you only have "One style"
Its "Da > da > da > da > da > da > da"
with NO abilities to do "Dadada da > da > da > dadada da > da"

I even just recorded a little clip to get my point across.
Anyways, You hit what THEY want you to hit.

You are aware that you can adjust BOTH audio and video latency in this game? I miss most beats too if I leave them on default settings, I have to delay the video for about 20ms to hit 96-99% onbeat.

And no, it's not just "Doom" with rhythm. Afaik, shooting in rhythm in Doom doesn't give you extra damage or a better score.

Honestly messing with it always make me mess up more just try setting it all to zero and then seeing if you can get into the rhythm.

I'm also not that good in this game but can't say the beat is not on point with the gameplay. It definitely is. It's a new experience though. Just because you're a musician doesn't say you are good at First Person Shooters and being a gamer doesn't say you got rythm. Being good at both doesn't even mean you can nail it

Except, it is synced to your gameplay. It literally stops playing music if you miss your shots or stop altogether. Maybe learn to keep up with rhythm.

You gotta calibrate the latency. I've been a musician most of my life, 0 audio latency and ~20 ms video latency and I'm like 90% on beat going in blind and with distractions.
