Report a translation problem
The only reason they did a western release at all was because the license was apparently very cheap.
I would not hold my breath for a remake of the other games in the series.
Also 3 had a completely different battle system that was not very well liked among fans of the franchise. ( even though i liked it).
I never played 3 what was the battle system changes?
I actually enjoyed playing 4, since it got a fan translation, but I hated the Judgement system. It tended to just give defending units 2 turns to the attacking units 1 and since you almost always on attack it just made the game wildly unfair. Especially made flying units near worthless from their low judgement.
In 3 you had a lot more commanders, up to 16 but in exchange you had no direct controls of your troops anymore. Your soldiers automatically moved with your commander as a single unit and the only thing you could influence was the formation they ended up after moving.
Only if one part of your formation touched a enemy could you fight them and then all your troops fought at once in some sort of 3d battle.
Also all commanders, yours and the enemy moved at the same time on the map.
So you gave everyone their move orders, then the enemy and then you saw it all play out.
I kinda liked it to be honest.
Here is a review of Langrisser 3 that shows the differences:

It honestly didn't matter since early on fliers got sky archers that could snipe the commanders before they could even attack the fliers, and they even get Archangels that completely ignore all magic damage and are some of the strongest troops in the game.
Enemy magic against the commanders isn't a problem either since equipping an amulet makes them just about as immune to magic damage as their archangels.
Not to mention the fact that even though they go last, they still have the most movement and ignore all terrain allowing them to accomplish far more in a single turn than an infantry with higher judgement could do in two turns.
