"This is a remake of the original Langrisser 1+2 for Mega Drive/Super Nes.
Each contains about 60 scenarios with different story paths you can follow ( Light, Empire, Chaos, Independant) and so on.
The mobile version only had super simplified maps of some of these scenarios.
This remake also uses the correct battle system of the classic games with your characters each having up to 8 separate soldier squads to control on the map.
So the scale of the battles and maps is much bigger. You also need a lot longer for a single scenario then in the simple mobile version.
Here is a video of the first stage in Langrisser 1.

simply this is a real Turn based strategy game with big maps, story and mechanics.
It's big and it's great (at least it's original is). No random chances for heroes or microtransactions either.
The mobile one I got tired quickly before level 30 last year, that's my first mobile game, I got interested only for the beautiful portraits of those familiar characters.
is that an honest question?
On this. Period.
or rather do not spend 50 bucks on any mobile ♥♥♥♥.
That is 5 months of purchasing the 3 privilege packs. These are enough to make your account "semi competitive":
You still won't be on par with the big spenders, but the handicap will be minimal.
The main difference is that you won't have much flexibility (you cannot afford to upgrade that many heroes).
Overall, the mobile game is more generous than its competition (I got 17 of the 41 SSR characters after 5 months with the privilege packs), but the grind can get quite tedious, and 10$/month is quite a lot, because the game you get is still not on par with what we used to have for subscription based MMORPG.
What I liked about the mobile version was to have coop and PvP, but that too turned into "work" (as you are kind of "expected" to grind in a guild).
Basically, 5€ = 1500 crystals (if taking the privilege monthly crystal pack), and you need on average 4500 to get an SSR character (ie: one of the best).
So 50€ will only give you 5 or so extra characters on the mobile version (which is significant, actually, but not steallr).
So I'd say they are better spent here :)
I enjoyed the game play of the mobile, but was really turned off by the gacha/micro transactions and 4hr daily requirements. The PC port seems to have tons of issues (and is $50 for some reason) - Also: why are the sprites so much better on mobile? For $50 I expect a bit better quality graphics. I see potential here, but I'm not sure it's worth $50
Is it still off the table for the Steam remake?
