that was garbage. SF 1 and 2 were the best!
Shining force 3?
they could port skies of arcadia to pc, which they did with gamecube but they arnt for some strange reason.
we asked for a shenmue port for years- nothing.
then when kickstarter funded shenmue 3 what do SEGA do? they release shenmue 1&2 port for pc and ps4 to cash in on shenmue 3.
so clearly its not that they cant "port it" its that they are too lazy and cheap to do so.
There doesn't need to be a remake. It is perfectly playable even with the game in Japanese. Although I am unsure but I believe the SF Project may finally be completed. If I were you I would get the game info and burn the discs and play it yourself. I played it translated for the 1st game and I played the part 2 and 3 in the original japanese with a translated script.
I would say you might be incorrect. The rights to the original games aren't Sega properties anymore to create a remake.
It has been fully translated. I can confirm that I only just got to play Shining Force 3 scenario's 2 and 3 last year after having wanted to for 20 years. Scenario 2 was great... 3 was a bit disappointing. Mostly because it hits like a wet noodle despite having 2 whole games building up to it.
very annoying to wtach.
Have you played the Premium Disc? Trust me part 3 kicks ass. The Premium Disc has EVERY Boss Battle from EVERY Shining game made to that point. 1999.
