BUG: Chokei Hotel (Spoiler)

Discovered a weird bug that I can't bypass and silly me hasn't been saving my game because it's a quick 2nd run through. In any case, details below:

When doing the arson sidequest, Naoto's father doesn't play along with the quest progression. I only know he's supposed to open up the next bit because I already did it. In the quest, you first speak to Rie, then her father, then the old dude at the restaurant, then Nabe, and then Naoto's dad. However, Naoto's dad is not giving the option to question him about the hotel. He keeps sitting there with the default choices of "I'll find the culprit" or "Naoto did it". I tried retracing all the steps and no go. I have no idea what triggered it to happen.

Okay, figured out how to get around it.

You have to go back to the dude in the restaurant and ask specifically if he saw a suspicious person, not about the handkerchief. You'll know you can progress when he no longer presents you with an option to choose. Then you can head back to Naoto's dad and the right options will show up.

Talk about railroading!

Had no issues with that quest. While on Epilogue last chapter I was stuck, later learned I had to talk to the girl from another location to get the dialogue I need to progress the story.
