Are new songs becoming more spam clicky?

Just played the new 3 songs, and i had this thought last update as well, but felt even more true this time; are songs getting more spammy rather than take advantage of the "slide" of notes?

I felt like that was one of the more interesting features of trombone champ, but seems like the recent added songs, as stated before, seem to take less advantage of it and would rather have more notes to break your mouse and your fingers with more OSU or guitar hero style of spam clicking.

You're not wrong - I'd love for the game to have more slides but this batch of songs simply has a lot of short notes, and trying to express the melody with slides didn't work that well. The first version of Carol of the Bells actually had a lot of slides, but it just didn't sound that good! The main pattern was "doot sliiide doot" instead of "doot, dootdootdoot," but it didn't sound enough like carol of the bells imho.

In future updates, I'd like to make a few more "remix" tracks rather than the straightforward covers that the last few updates have included - remixes allow for more creative mapping since you don't need to write something that sounds strictly like the actual song.

I see, well i hope that trombone champ still has great days ahead of it, i gotta say it's very very fun.
Also hopefully the beta editor gets a full release + some sort of online song browser, community content is the life blood of many such games, and i'm sure something ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ would be much less scuffed than the moresongs mod.
