Generally all you need is a DAW, a tool to convert a MIDI file made with said DAW into trombone champ chart files and a minimum amount of knowledge of music as well as how to use the programs.
technically any music knowledge is not required but it is highly unlikely you'll be able to create charts that sound or play great without getting into at least the basics of it.
I wonder if the will add steam workshop and an Easter way to do it
Hi, you said about DAW files, but how is the visual part created, by a third-party program or directly in the game?
There's an advanced format that lets you make in engine scenes in Unity but idk how that works, never gotten into that.
