Trombone Champ
How hard is it to mod songs into the game
By that I mean adding a song in. Does it auto put the trombone notes in or do you need to spend an hour doing that yourself. Do you need a third party program or is it a part of base game

Modding in songs that others have made is very easy, modding in songs yourself is a bit more involved but honestly still pretty simple compared to other types of game mods.

Generally all you need is a DAW, a tool to convert a MIDI file made with said DAW into trombone champ chart files and a minimum amount of knowledge of music as well as how to use the programs.
technically any music knowledge is not required but it is highly unlikely you'll be able to create charts that sound or play great without getting into at least the basics of it.
Forgot that……
I wonder if the will add steam workshop and an Easter way to do it :steamsad:

Hi, you said about DAW files, but how is the visual part created, by a third-party program or directly in the game?

The backgrounds are just either a typical .png image or .mp4 video.
There's an advanced format that lets you make in engine scenes in Unity but idk how that works, never gotten into that.
