Report a translation problem
- Yep, there is a 1 in 500 chance of pulling a gold card randomly from "the sack," so this is almost definitely what happened: you got lucky and pulled a golden card very early.
- The achievement just checks to see if you have gold cards; at the moment, the game doesn't "save" how you got them (randomly vs building yourself).
We will probably make some adjustments to how this system works. In the Nintendo Switch version, you can engoldenate cards from the start without needing to beat the game, but there is zero chance of randomly pulling a gold card. In retrospect, that system makes a bit more sense and we should adjust the PC version to match...
