Custom Songs Crash

I've had Trombone Champ with custom songs for awhile and have had no issues. Today i downloaded some more songs and now I cannot play a single song. Anytime I try to play a song it just goes to a plain black screen. I just wanna play my silly songs :(

Hi - sorry for the inconvenience! Sometimes, updates to Trombone Champ require some mods to be updated as well. Older versions of mods would replace large chunks of code, which breaks the game when new features are added (e.g., the updated design for the "Perfecto!" indicator, or the new stuff in the pause screen).

All of the popular mods that may have caused crashes have already been updated to support 1.11, so as long as the mods are updated, you should be all set.

Additional advice:

1. Most modders seem to recommend moving away from manually installing mods, and instead using tools such as r2modman or Thunderstore to manage mods. With these tools, modders can push updates to their mods instantly.
