Ideas for Microphone Mapping?

I'm trying to figure out if there's a tool that can convert microphone pitch into mouse movements. I guess it would defeat the purpose by turning this game into a Rock Band vocal track, but my goal is to figure out how to play this with a slide whistle or kazoo without any extra hardware. Anyone got any ideas?

I feel like the main problem with that is the inputs from the mouse are just directional. Meaning it doesn't matter how much the mouse is moving, just that it's moving. Which means although you could use pitch registers to determine if the cursor should go up and down, there is most likely no way to use pitch as a float value for position on the bar.
