No Sound
Hey, I just got the game recently and downloaded the game. When I go to play it and play songs, there is absolutely no sound. I have tried reinstalling the game, making sure my sound settings are correct, and made sure that the sound was on in the game. I am so lost at what is causing the problem.

Anyone found a fix yet?

Sorry everyone, this is a real mystery. Was there no sound *whatsoever* during gameplay sequences? Or no background music? Never any sound at all?...

For me, as soon as i start the start the game there is no sound, no background noise when in menu and no music during gameplay.

Sorry, I'm still not 100% clear on exactly what players are experiencing: are you saying there's simply zero sound whatsoever? Or are there SOME sounds that still trigger outside of the examples you listed above?

I'm also having no sound WHATSOEVER, but this started suddenly - previously the sound has been fine, but today for some reason there is no sound. I did install the big Win11 update today, wondering if that has something to do with it?

This might sound obvious but does anything change if you turn the master volume up in the settings panel, quit settings (this re-saves your settings file), and then restart the game?

any of you using two displays? I have the same issue and the sound seems to start working again (only the game audio!) when I disconnect the HDMI of my second monitor.

when using only my laptop's display the game audio works normally.

for me, i have zero sound at all. if i open the volume mixer it shows its not playing any sound at all. i have also made sure the master volume is fully up, changed my pc settings so the only audio device is my speakers etc

OK, I feel half-stupid and half-confused: somehow (no idea how) the master volume slider INSIDE the settings menu of Trombone Champ dropped to 0 after I installed the recent Win 11 cumulative patch - absolutely bizarre. I cranked it back up to 11 and am happily jamming again.

well, i'd rather it be a silly mistake on your part than some big underlying technology problem!
