Hatch Baboon Not Showing Up

I bought two of the (I'm assuming, didn't get that far) three customizables from the hatch baboon with the trombone trophy (don't remember what he called it). Just loaded up my game and now he isn't showing up at all. I click the hatch until he should appear, it plays the sound effect (lightning for the jumpscare version, cheering if its off) but he just doesn't show up and the game doesn't progress. The trophy stays black, not lit up, so I can't progress. Is this part of the game design or has my game/save been corrupted?

finally got four s ranks clicked the door, nothing happened had to look it up. Seems broken.

Same here, can't get the last of the unlockables without him!

Glad there's a consensus. I started a new save, S'd the first five songs and he still wouldn't pop up, even for the first opening of the vault. Thought my game was broken. Thanks for the responses.

I am also having the same issue. I am streaming it currently live on Twitch, in case someone wants to see it in detail. I had finished unlocking two of the three Treble chests, then closed the game out. When I came back in, I no longer saw baboon after opening the hatch.

I'm having the same issue... is there a fix or do we have to wait for the update? I just need to get one more upgrade and all of them are done. .-.

My guess is wait for patch from the dev because old versions aren't kept on steam
