The Constructive Feedback Thread
Given that the game was just released, seems like it might be helpful to put polite and reasonable feedback in one place, so feel free to drop a note here with your personal list of things that you'd like improved/adjusted.

Note: This isn't intended for wishlisting, asking "Why didn't you...?" or just complaining about the game generally. This is for specific requests about existing parts of the game that could reasonably be implemented.

My list so far:

- Please let me rename buildings from the Tribe management screen instead of having to walk over to them in-person.

- Please let me sort the Tribe management screen by Building Name, number of workers, the Storage Hut they're attached to, and what the building is currently making (alphabetical).

- Please let tools stack. If I can carry hundreds of rocks in one slot there's no reason I can't carry 3 axes in the same space. Also let totems stack, since they are a building component like any other.

- For objectives like the bridge and the bomb, please give an ingredient count the same way as you do for blueprints. I had to keep walking back and forth between both of these and my camp to cut more wood, pick up more clay etc. It's boring and adds nothing to the experience.

- Please make it clear for the bridge that you only need to build one side of the scaffolding (or just remove the second side, since it isn't needed and simply wastes resources).

- Please let me construct crafting buildings using a wood/clay/stone totem to begin with. I haven't bothered with them at all simply because it's a faff to make a bamboo one, then make the building, then make a better one, then swap out the bamboo one, then destroy the bamboo one or put it in a chest for later. I'd like to be able to move on from bamboo completely and just build with the latest tier of totem directly.

- I know there is the skill/mastery system, and that helps, but it'd be nice to have a sense of progression by being able to make better tools. Likewise, it'd be nice to be able to change how the buildings look - either colours or shapes. (Cosmetic constructions like totem poles or torches would be nice too, but that's more wishlisting than feedback)

- Hunting is an... awful experience. Not fun. Eagle Eye doesn't consistently highlight animals, spearthrowing at moving targets is a roulette wheel, and you can't catch up with animals to stab them with melee. The start of desert biome nearly made me put the game down because of the amount of bone and leather I needed before I was able to make hunting buildings. I don't really know how you'd fix it, apart from maybe having rabbits and raccoons stand still for 2 seconds every now and again so you can hit them.

can we have more people to scout per bonfire? it feels so bad having to run around the entire map to get just 3 people EVERY time

I was looking for this, the hunting-part is so true.

I was so happy to finally having build the temple, only to find out I need leather for the bone talismans. Now I have to kill an additional 8 of those f**ing squirrels or whatever before I finally can build the hunting hut, and with my luck it probably needs leather to build...

Fml, I think I need a break from this game.

All great points! I found that if I build close enough together in areas with animals, they sometimes get stuck and I can get them that way. Kinda helps... ish...

Automatically pull construction materials from regional storage when building, rather than having to ensure you have it in your inventory.

Heck, have a "builder's hut" structure you can assign a tribe member to that'll gradually complete constructions if there's materials in storage to do so.

Is this the only way to get leather?? kill the bunnies/squirrels/raccoons? ugh!
