Are there cool animals/hunting in this game?

Do you fight boars and jaguars and stuff like that in this game? I'm looking at the gameplay videos and I don't see any animals.

So far, I have only seen rabbits, and a raccoon looking thing, and the seagulls and vultures.

i do agreed the game needs more animals, if you have rabbits and ferrets/wolverine looking things it would lead to suggest that there would be bigger predators to cull the numbers, otherwise the island would be infested with them. Also vultures are carrion eaters and would not survive on eating small rodent like animals, they are quite large birds. So some sort of small cat or a leopard perhaps. Crocodiles in the rivers, snakes even. I don't think mammoths and sabertooths would fit, the game isn't neolithic but rather primitive natives, south american natives maybe, ie amazonian perhaps, the language has very similar overtones.
