Can the base stations be put on tripod stands?

Since I live in a military dorm I can't screw-mount the base stations into the walls and I don't trust the command stick strips, can I screw them onto camera tripods instead?

Yes, however, you may need a ball head adapter on top to rotate it at your required angle. Just make sure it's 1/4" screw in the lighthouse, you may need a 3/8 to 1/4 converter.
