Analog Stick Broke Off Controller
I was playing Beat Saber when I swung my left controller and it caught on my pants, ripping the analog stick from its socket. It looks like a short wire was removed along with it (which is still attached to the bottom of the stick. Is this possible to repair?

You can follow this guide that I found to access that part of the controller, and if you know how to reattach a wire, you might be able to get it working again.

@BongoKittyCat_TTV Yes. Reached out to Steam and got a free replacement.

I know this post is pretty old but I have just broken my left analog stick off on the arm of my chair. I was able to do a semi fix as in I could just attach the thumb stick to the metal rod but the ribbon I will not be able to attach. I popped the face off with a butter knife, I had no adhesive and it came off with a pop. I put the thumb stick back on when the face was detached and popped the face back on. The controller stick still moves so I can move around but the controller will not detect my thumb on the stick that is all but I am happy with that and not having to pay another $400 as I am in Australia and Valve does not deliver to Australia because Australian's don't deserve good VR lol.
