Is this game compatible with an RTX 3070 and Occulus Rift S setup?

I recently purchased this game, it does not start. I start steam, run steam VR, launch the game then the small pagan peak VR splash screen appears in that virtual world with the mountains in the distance and it seemingly hangs at that point.

I have run the integrity checker that steam provides and it passed that.

I notice from the discussion page that an update was released last year but there seems to be no more activity from the developers which makes me question if this game is compatible?

try to start it with oculus vr. sometimes steam vr and oculus vr running at the same time can cause problems.
