Recommended bare bones MIDI controller that still feels good to play?
I'm finding I am really liking this game. I wanted to get a midi controller to play with this game. I saw some other forums recommending a DJ Tech mini, but those don't seem available anymore. Any other recommendations for a fairly budget controller that still feels good to play with?

The popular option from the Discord community is the Hercules DJ Control Inpulse 200. Those still tend to run for about $100USD or more, but it's probably the best you're gonna on the more budget side of things.

Cool thank you. Side note, do you know a link for the discord? I can't seem to find it by searching

Just getting into the game after SGDQ. Does anyone have a link to good starting settings / mapping for the Impulse 200?

The binding layout is the same across all turntables. Left jog for beats, right jog to grab/tap and spin the wheel (or viceversa if you're using it upside down/you're lefthanded).
Stay away from physical buttons, they're not good and you'll destroy them very quickly. At best you can bind them to pause/restart etc.

Thanks. Any tips for deck sensitivity? Turns seems slow stock and any spins are 50/50.

To change that use the Sensitivity slider (not Wheel sensitivity that is shared across devices). I play on -2750 but that’s definitely on the lower end and can be pretty straining. -4000 would be a decent starting point, but you’ll want to slowly adjust it closer to “0” as you get better at controlling it.
