Thank you! That price point seems about perfect so I'll pick one up
Best place to get them in Australia?
There appear to be a couple options for the $100-$200 AUD mark but I don't know a huge amount about this stuff so I'm not sure if they'd be compatible

I'm not sure how well the MIDI functionality of that unit would work for the game, but if I decide to get it and try then I'll report back.
Yes please do! I got one of the Numark controllers in the same price range, but not very happy with it because touching the platter doesn't send a midi command. :( Which means a separate button has to be assigned to 'grab' the platter. Which isn't completely terrible, but i don't like it. Would much rather have the platter touch be detected as 'grab'.
The wheels are small, which is fine with me, I've got small play area, so it can be tucked away when I'm not using it, it's about as heavy as a small keyboard, and has nice feet on it so it doesn't slip around.
My only "gripe" I can say (which was adjustable obviously) was the auto-sensitivity set it far too "slow" for my liking, I'd have to turn the wheel far too much to gt the reaction I'd need, especially for the fast responses and everything of some of the tougher songs. The auto-sensitivity suggested all the way down to like 40 ... I cranked it up to 100 to be ... around where I wanted it to feel right. but of course, that's all personal preference? Not sure exactly how to suggest a "solution" to auto-tune the sensitivity though, seeing as again, it's adjustable manually.
But yes, overall, I'd say it's a perfectly fine MIDI controller to play with, if you don't mind it not having touch sensitivity on the platters. For the price, it's great. And if you're planning on getting into DJ'ing eventually? why not?
Touch sensitivity aside, it gets the job done. I'm pretty satisfied with it and am performing better with it. Similar to Kinam, the recommended wheel sensitivity was too so I set mine to 55.
For the game, I think PL-1 is the best choice for finer rotary encoder (I think...), but all of them have touch sensitive on jog wheel to do 'grab'.
The new product i found (which I can't find anyone selling them locally) is Numark dj2go2 touch, which add 'touch' to jog wheel. So this one can 'grab' too.
Can you recommend a Midi device available in China
