I would have rather seen a colonial force. Harlem Hellfighters had their thing in BF1, the Sengals had their run in the games Verdun and BFV. I'd want to see something ACTUALLY in Africa eventually, with the native colonial forces.

You seem to suffer from a serious case of "not knowing what your customers want".

Just read the 2015 MOH citation for Sgt. Henry Johnson and you'll see why the hellfighters deserve the recognition. They were placed under French command because they were expendable to the AEF and weren't even allowed to serve combat roles alongside white American troops. They made a huge impact fighting for a country that didn't care about them so its cool to see a bit of recognition for them even if it's in the form of this game and the first mission of BF1 even though they deserved recognition when they were still here.

I'm calling it now, they're gonna add more of these as DLCs instead of free updates since this game's not selling.

Great to see a historically based game educate while at the same time entertain. The game is trying to flesh out the WW1 experience and I really hope they succeed in making the game a success. I think the game is way off being finished but holding thumbs things get better.

As long as it's done right, I have little problem with minority representation in a WW1 game, especially for a regiment as renowned as the 369th.

This seems to be doing it right from my perspective. BF1 & BF5 did not.

The difference is depicting them in their historical circumstances (such as within their segregated regiments and whether or not they fought much) and at a proportional level.

Therefore I'm looking forward to playing both the British and the 369th this update, and I hope to see a nice variety of British Imperial regiments in the future, such as Canadians, ANZACs and Indians.

Im sure you are smart enough to figure out that the US wasnt there for several years but them and their soldiers played a big role in the end of the war. Why are you so uneducated on this or are you just straight up ignorant? The Hellfighters as said in the post were the longest active unit the US army deployed to ww1. What do you want history to change so you can be happy or something?

I'm pretty hyped to see them added into the game. Not many games show units like the Harlem Hellfighters and the fact that this one is shows their dedication to providing a nice historical representation of the soldiers in game

You complain about the Hellfighters being added because "other units fought for longer," but you don't complain about the standard AEF faction - whose units fought for less than the Hellfighters did. So what you're saying makes no sense.
