Bots
Devs just an fyi if you add multiplayer bots for custom games, or coop or whatever, this game will dominate as the top ww1 game on steam.

this game definitely needs bots
The game is very good and it shows that the creators put a lot of effort into doing it, but because of the ping with the servers and the minimum number of players it has, I think there should be an offline mode or that there are bots on the servers, like this The game could be more fun or frenetic and it could attract more people.

There will be a separate mode with bots in the future, some kind of PvE, players vs bots if I'm not mistaken

Bots/ Editor
I think adding Bots like in Verdun or Tannenberg would be great idea for playing in late hours (or even when servers are empty at the day)

Also Editor like in Arma 3 would be great for making fun and games maybe even gamemode like Zeus from arma?
I know that the playerbase is low, but bots arent the solution! This game is based on communication, not on giving stupid Ai orders!

I used to support bots years back with Verdun and Tannenberg. Even though I did enjoy the devs adding them, I noticed people got real upset and see that as the reason for those games being dead. I usually see Verdun with at least three hundred people on a regular basis with Tannenberg just barely existing at all.

I don't know, for the sake of the majority of the community, I don't think bots are the way to go. Not at least right now.

I love bots because it was all I had to fight with when playing early 2000 shooters. But nowadays it's more of a love and hate relationship depending on the person, and I try to respect that.

Yeah bots are not the way to go. If anything it should be used as a placeholder until a player joins the server, just like bf 2042 is doing. However there's a split community with people who want bots and people who want to play against humans. Bots don't really provide a challenge and are boring if you look at Verdun. If people want to play with Bots, they should just make an offline mode so they can play with their bot friends and have an easy time .
