''Weapons created with an emphasis on historical accuracy, with minor changes made only when it creates a more engaging and fun gameplay experience. While Beyond The Wire is not a simulation game, we strive for as much accuracy as possible while still ensuring a fun First Person Shooter experience for a wide range of players.''
its vague and doesnt mean much, but at least it looks like they somewhat care
(also, theres ways to incorporate black solders in a game about the ww1 western front and have it be historically accurate, as long as they dont come in contact with american troops)
As they were used to try to help in filling out french units that had been shattered and many times were put in the line when no other units were available,
Were as the african american troops and units were used mostly in support roles and the vast majority never saw combat,
The senegalese tirailleurs and other french colonial units saw very heavy combat in the battle of verdun in 1916 and in the spring offensive and the hundred days offensive in 1918.
well i say that but the rest of your comment doesnt either, the game could have half of the soldiers be blacks or arabs and still be historically accurate *coughs in spahis and senegalese being sent to the western front*
Remember black germans and 3/4 of the brits being black in BF1? On the western front no less.
Not trying to be racist, just pointing out the hipocracy in the argument about people complaining about women in BFV yet dont mind the blacks in BF1

I'm sorry to say, but if there's not gonna be women in the game, they will get burned down on twitter and because of that the reputation of the company goes down.
It sucks, i know, but that's just the world we live in. The only thing we can do is focus on the gameplay and let our ideas about realistic games move to the background a bit.
