That's weird, 'cause what's been happening to me is that the game completely ignores the second controller. I've tried everything: Plugging P1 through USB and P2 through Bluetooth, Plugging P1 through Bluetooth and P2 through USB, both P1 and P2 through USB and both P1 and P2 through Bluetooth. Nothing.
How are you guys doing it?
EDIT: Forgot to mention, I'm using two PS4 controllers, DualShock4 V2 to be exact.
Okay, thank you for clearing that up! I guess the WHY it has to be done that way will remain a mystery...
In the Free Battle Menu, you can set the option to play yourself (Player 1 vs CPU, with or without sidekicks), 2 players (Player 1 vs Player 2, with or without sidekicks) and 4 players (Player 1 vs Player 2, Player 3 being Player 1's sidekick and Player 4 being Player 2's sidekick).
I don't have that many controllers (nor that many people to play with) but it is possible to play locally with three of your friends.
How do side kicks work? cause dont you call them in for the special and thats it? With that in mind wouldn't they get like 4 seconds of playtime before they leave?
As I said, I don't have that many controllers or people to play with, so I've never tried it myself. I guess sidekicks'd work differently with four players?
Is anyone facing the same issue, or knows how to fix this?
Any help at all will be greatly appreciated :)
