Whats the point of Toga's transformation?

I know that turning into people is her power, canonically. But what purpose does it serve in this game?

She can't use 60% of their attacks, it just seems like handicapping yourself

bro, she can call in the other opponent's assists, and while she's transformed, the opponent can't call their assist. that alone is very useful.

that does seem pretty cool, not many assists in the story mode though :(

she gets they're regular attacks, and almost anyone's is better than hers.

and it's not like she get's they're quirks when she transforms in the anime

She's able to get their normal and armored moves, as well as their assists. can be amazingly useful if you know how to extend with their assists and if you know how to play their character
