Everyone playing on the switch including myself must be playing her wrong; from what I've seen, Izuku's future wife Himiko seems mid-tier to me.
So where does Shoot Style Deku and DBZ Deku rank, exactly? In the middle? Was also interested in Bakugo, but it turns out he's more for zoning than close-up fights....which is weird af considering it's Bakugo.
Tamaki has long combos (even with auto combo on), a reliable way to get opponents stuck in a wall, and one of the hardest to dodge unblockable attacks. Camie actually can be blocked, but she's a great assist regardless.
It's sort of hard to say where the dekus fall, I've gone up against a few dozen of shoot style and far more of 100% full cowling, but most of those weren't good enough players for me to judge the characters. That said, according to the leaderboard on switch (not that the leaderboard means much) 100% full cowling deku has seen great success, and shoot style is doing decently but not great.
As for Bakugo, he does have some zoning options, but most good Bakugo players I've fought focus on a rushdown playstyle due to the short startup time of his melee attacks.
If your playstyle is close range, then Bakugo is a good choice if you prioritze speed. If you want to get a few more melee options and hit a little harder in exchange for less mobility then shootstyle deku is a good choice. And if you dare drop to the lowest mobility, then Kendo Rappa is the choice for you... I personally don't recommend that, but I know people who insist he's good so I may as well include him.
Camie's assist CAN be blocked, the problem is that it tracks extremely well. Jump to avoid it? She'll follow you up there, no matter how high. Quick dash to the side to try and evade? Pretty sure it's impossible to time it perfectly enough to avoid her, if possible the window is extremely small and if you're in a corner, it's 0. So you have to block it, and then guard break the 1 hit it does on your guard, otherwise your opponent can walk up and do a red attack of his own cause they know you have to block it.
That video is definitely convincing, but I'm still more inclined to believe personal experience which tells me Gran Torino is low to mid tier. Endeavor and Bakugo I can't really form my own solid opinion on as I play Himiko and pretty much always win my easy matchup against Endeavor and usually lose my poor matchup against Bakugo.
and of course I am of the opinion that Mirio is broken not only at top level play like this tierlist is based on but at all other levels of play as well
