What use is "Feint"?

It makes the opponent loose “balance”. Some opponents are too powerful for you. You need faint them to either be able to hit them, or to keep them in the defensive (for the next 20 turns, only faint them, so that they can’t one shot you).

Feint lowers your opponents stance and raises your tiredness. Use them to widen the opponents stance, the lower his stance the better your chance of success. Usually a quick feint, a normal feint, and a shield knock will get them down to nothing then you can go for neck and head shots. Be careful not to get over tired. Better to go defensive and lower your tired meter below your opponents before beginning your attack again leading with feints.

As above. It is mostly useful for opening up an enemy without risking your own stance. This either lets you back foot superior opponents without exposing yourself to instant death, or gain an edge over a peer who is slightly off balance, but not enough to risk opening yourself up with a miss.
