Hi, I love the original arcade game.

just tried it and found a fix - protondb entry pending so here's a copy/paste of my description:
per default the game gets stuck with a black screen directly after loading. the reason for this is the intro video Bumper.mp4 which is supposed to be played. renaming it doesn't help (maybe converting or replacing with a compatible dummy file?) but installing Media Foundation stuff using https://github.com/z0z0z/mf-install fixes this issue. only played some minutes, but looks like the game works perfectly with that workaround! :)

@frostwork : OMG, this is so cheap it makes no sense ! I'll buy the games again if I enjoy them :-)

The problem is I'll probably not have the time anyway.
I really wish it was possible to play the Amiga tunes by Pierre-Eric Loriaux, they are awesome !!

Do you know how to cap the game at 60 FPS ? I have a 144 Hz monitor and it runs way too fast. I mean, apart from switching manually...

you could wrap the manual switch into a small xrandr script which is launched via steam start options, but that is probably not the solution you're looking for. *shrug*
(btw: I never really played jetsnguns and I only have part 1 :) )

I tried libstrangle but it doesn't work. Maybe it doesn't support proton ? I also tried to specify xrandr commands in the game arguments (xrandr xxxx && %command% && xrandr xxxx) ; it doesn't work either :)

After try and fail using mf-install and mf-installcab with proton 5.13, I've read on README of mf-installcab that It's recommended to try with latest Proton-GE. So I tried with Proton Experimental and it worked flawlessly to me.
Hope this message help someone save some time figuring it out...
