However, there are different "races" that have certain abilities that you can unlock as you proceed through the game. For example, the Ukat have abilities that can increase the likelihood and duration of their targets suffering from "bleed" effects.
One thing to remember is that you can freely drop and add new party members (except, of course, the main character you make at the start of the game). Those characters you don't have with you will automatically "move up" to match your character's level. So you don't have to worry about characters you aren't using being left behind.
No nephilim or slith in Queen's Wish, unfortunately. But there is still plenty of variety to be found!
