Crucible is half MOBA, half BR. The game modes felt like a mixture of both.

A F2P Hero Shooter is Paladins, MOBAs are DoTA2 and LoL, BR are Fortnite and the other garbage BR games.

I don't think there's anything on the market right now that's similar to Crucible. A pure hero shooter doesn't capture the feeling of this game, and neither does a pure MOBA.

Play Dark Souls.
Don't waste any more time on new Hero Shooter or Mobas... They will all flop because there are to many Games and not enough players left.

Just play Dark Souls and buy a PS5 for Demon Souls

In all honesty, it depends what people liked about the game, the characters, the PvP elements, the PvE elements, the objectives?

I primarily test out games that involve shooting for the PvP aspects. So from my point of view, 3rd person is not really viable for PvP as you can see a wider angle and that isn't really fun, also gunplay mechanics, like recoil, spread, etc. can't be very sophisticated with 3rd person.

So from what I find interesting in shooter games, I would suggest people to go play Valorant or CS:GO. I'd be playing Valorant right now if they had more game modes, but the gameplay even it its current state is very solid with characters, abilities and gunplay, only problem is the only game mode is Demolition (bomb plant/defusal) 5 vs 5, after playing that for a month in CBT, I'm worn out. I'm waiting for modes like TDM, probably CTF, Payload, Conquest and others to be included before I go back.

But CS:GO has TDM and has some fun side modes, it will always be on top of the Steam Charts, so it's a solid game of choice.

There are no alternatives. Fortnite and Overwatch are the only shooter games allowed to exist. Anything else gets ♥♥♥♥ on constantly by people who don't even play it, until it dies a slow agonizing death. It's happened over and over again. Don't even bother trying to find a new MP shooter game.
