Some tips:
- Difficulty selection does not matter for these achievements, so play on Easy.
- Practice is the best here. Do few practice runs first and make notes where you are struggling and focus on getting better on those parts. You can train bosses and escape sequences from the main menu.
For Immortal:
- Take note of any locations with instant-kill zones and be especially wary around them. Thankfully there are WAY LESS of those in here compared to Ori 1.
- Load up on Shards that boost your survivability. Resilience can be found very early and will cut the damage taken nearly in half when fully upgraded. A very notable combo is Catalyst + Overflow, which will recharge Energy on melee hits, and then recharge Health when Energy is full, so you can always heal in boss fights.
For speedrun:
- 4h is very generous target, I managed ~2h30 without any speedrunner skips.
- Hammer and Sentry are your best skills. With Hammer, you can extend jumps and gain extra height while doing so, and its fairly easy to learn, allowing for some shortcuts. More advanced is Sentry Jumping - if you time an upward sword swing and a sentry spawn together, you do an insane vertical jump, saving entire minutes of vertical climbing sections.
If all else fails, you can always save scum - make a backup of your save file before a difficult section, and restore it if you die (on PC at least, dunno about consoles).
