stuck in Baur's territory

Hello everyone. I'm stuck in Baur's territory (Ori and the will of wisps): when I go to the "highest reach" on top of the vertical corridor, the path on the left is blocked by a large tree trunk. I watched a few walkthrough videos and normally this path shouldn't be blocked. Does anybody have an idea of what I forgot to do (I made sure that I didn't forget to light all the fires)?

Suggestions are much appreciated as my 6 year old is pretty sad that we're stuck there.

I assume this is the windy vertical way? (other people reported similar stuck issues there)
You will unblock this path from the other side. There is probably still something you forgot to do in the main Baur's Reach level. Probably at the very end of it, where there are a lot of auto-closing plants. Just before the place with a big basin of water.
