Clarification on the title

Hello there, fellow leaf-lightbulb-thing players.

My question may seem strange, so a bit of context is required:
I'm currently planning to do a "let's play" of this game (not advertisement, I'm not here for that, this is just for context). My main language isn't English, so I'll most likely translate the title during the video. Thing is, depending on the context, the word "will" has different meanings which aren't the same word in my language, and I'd prefer to be as precise as possible.

So that's my question. Is this "will of the wisps" what the wisps want to happen (or sort of), or is it more like their "last will"?

No spoiler, please. I'd prefer to discover details related to my question by myself, I just want the overall context for this specific word.

Je te répondrais que le premier titre n'as pas de traduction Française pour "And the Blind Forest" donc tu pourrais aisément garder "And the Will of the Wisps" aussi.

Désolé mais il faut les balises. De ce que j'ai lu des sujets spoils sur la fin, je dirais que la traduction FR serait "Ori et la Volonté des Esprits" même si Wisps se traduirait par Feux Follets.
Volonté pouvant indiquer à la fois l'intention et le dernier voeu.

What the wisps want to happen. It is their intention, their goal, their objective.

Oh je sais bien que le titre du premier n'était pas traduit officiellement et que rien ne m'y force, mais n'empêche, ce serait un petit détail appréciable (au moins pour moi et mon cerveau malade). :P

Quant à ta proposition de mot "ambigu" (dirons-nous), certes, j'y ai pensé. J'aurais seulement souhaité être un poil plus précis (s'il est possible de l'être sans spoiler intensif). Mais je prend note de ton interprétation.

Et j'évite bien le reste du forum, j'ai en effet vu quelques titres laissant comprendre qu'ils parlaient de la fin. J'ignore ce qu'il s'y passe, seulement que certains joueurs ne l'aiment pas. Et je préfère en rester là. :P

Think of it as more of a "Divine Will" kind of thing.
Something prophetic in what will happen.

I've always taken it to be the traditional "Will-o'-the-wisp" from folklore: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Will-o%27-the-wisp . The devs just spelled "of" out instead of using a contraction.

Yeah, me too at first. Then we get the title dropped near the very end of the game. It is clear in the context that it is what the wisps want to happen.

It's definitely a play on that, but once you get further in the game you'll understand the title is deliberate and means "will" as in "what they want"
