Actual Windows 10 is version 1909 build 18363.535 afaik. You can just update your Windows 10 for your PC be within required parameters.

There is a hope that game would actually work in Windows 7/8 also, then strict requirement for Windows 10 build also shouldn't apply.

Windows 10 is not strictly related or adhered to one specific version or build type. Versions can be thought of as Service Packs which are numbered based on the year and month a new Windows 10 build is released. So 1809 was built in September, 2018, and got released in October, 2018 after Microsoft was finished doing internal testing of it, then released it as build 17763.1. It was a buggy release which quickly got taken off their website due to it deleting files on customer's computers after they upgraded from a previous Windows release, and was re-released as build 17763.107. Version releases (formerly known as Service Packs) (e.g. 10240, 10586, 14393, 15063, 16299, 17134, 17763, 18362, 18363, 19041, 19536, etc.) can be thought of as multiple accumulations of updates in a single package which includes patches, fixes (including security), cosmetic alterations, and new functionality for non-Enterprise customers.

My version of Windows 10, which is version 1809, build 17763 (specifically 17763.914 at the moment) will always be 17763.x because: 1) It it the LTSC version, 2) It is stuck at this version and build since it is designed for stability and security over functionality, 3) I have no intentions on updating it to a newer version since this is a Long Term Service Channel release. This is the second LTSC (formerly LTSB) that Microsoft has released for Windows 10 to date and is an Enterprise release.

So to say Windows 10 is version 1909 is not correct in a literal sense. That is not to say that there is no version of Windows 10 that is version 1909. Clearly there is. 1909 is a newer version (and build) than the one that I have, however, the supported lifespan of 1909 is not as long as the version I am using:

Version 1809, Build 17763 - January 9, 2029
Version 1903, Build 18362 - December 8, 2020
Version 1909, Build 18363 - Home, Pro and Pro Education is May 11, 2021, and Education and Enterprise is May 10, 2022

So I ask again, will Ori and the Will of the Wisps be supported on Windows 10, version 1809, build 17763?
