Kwolok Boss Fight - Any way to skip/cheat/change difficulty?
Really enjoying playing through the game but I'm bored of fighting this tedious boss - Is there some way I can just skip past it or something so I can play the main game again? :(

You can "exit fight" and then come back later if you want. You're never locked into a boss, as far as I know.

Equip everything that boosts the Bow & Arrow attack (including the 5-way spread shot, 150% more damage if all hit) and wail on him with it. Works well against all bosses.

I managed to get through it eventually, but eurgh I hated every moment and didn't even feel happy when I got through it.

Repetitive enough going through it once let along a whole bunch of times ;(

Thankyou for offering advice.

The fight is apparently a lot deeper/more complex than I initially gave it credit for. When I saw what you're supposed to do on the wiki for the game, I felt slightly annoyed that I didn't grasp the intended combat mechanics and ended up brute forcing the fight.

What really baffles me now that I've played the rest of the game is that subsequent boss fights seem to:
a) Be a hell of a lot easier
b) Have checkpoints mid-fight so you aren't forced to repeat early parts over and over.

I'm baffled why one of the early ones is such a pain & doesn't have a checkpoint at the mid-way point so you don't have to keep repeating the start :/

This boss is not really early since you are free to go to new areas in any order you want, you may fight this boss as first or last. Besides even if you chose it as first destination at this point you should have everything you need to literaly melt this boss, it simply comes down to prepare yourself, which in case of boss fights comes down to take Spirit Arc with its shards + dmg shards. Well unless you missed like all secrets and don't have those but then you have yourself to blame, speeding up and ignoring content often leads up to be less prepared for upcoming challenges.

Honestly I would say Mora fight is more challenging then Kwolok but that mostly due to later being more easy to quickly burst down thus skipping all silly stuff.

And also note, as I mentioned above, if you DO find a boss to hard, you can back out from the pause menu and go somewhere else.
