Spirit Light Farming

Because the glitched ways seem to have been patched out, and the best way to get SL is not available once you complete the Mouldwood Depths (Bug farming), here is how I did it, hoping this will help others. (Note: this is for hard difficulty, on easier ones this is probably a lot quicker)

General:
There are two fast ways to farm:
1) push enemies into spikes/water
2) spam them with abilities

Here is my farming setup:
Magnet - Spirit Surge - Reckless - Overcharge - Light Harvest - Bounty - Energy Harvest - Turmoil

Use Spike (upgraded)

DO NOT use Lifeforce! This shard is bugged and sometimes doesn't apply the damage multiplier!


I have two farming Locations:
1) Luma Pools: near the end where the chase sequence starts. It's really close to a well and you want to stay on the platform. You will push the scorpions into the water and use spike on the mosquitos. The right scorpion will not spawn after a while so you can stay left until the other scorpion stops spawning too. I would suggest to just continue farming here until your spike reaches 40 damage (if you are on hard, if you can oneshot all enemies in the other location already, do that instead)
2) Inkwater Marsh: in the central big room on the ledge. You can see the mill in the background. Enemies to kill here are 2 mosquitos and one exploding roller. Stand far right below the red mosquito spawn so you don't get killed by the roller.

You can probably find better enemies to kill on easier difficulty, but you want fast respawns (rollers and mosquitos are super quick in that regard) and to be able to oneshot them.
Otherwise you will lose time and will not be able to sustain your energy.

Hmm, there is already a topic about this, but nevermind. There I told that there is even a way to let the game farm the spirit light four you by itself even though the method is a little bit slow. But at least you can to other things during that time:

Yes I saw that post but due to the limited availability of this method I thought I'd mention this for people who (like me) do their first complete playthrough on hard without looking that farming strategy up first.

It took me quite a bit to find these spots, so I hope this does something.
