There is also still a place in the game with a way to farm spirit light containers by actually doing nothing. This method isn't quick at all, but it lets the game basically do farm the containers for you by itself. So, you could go to sleep and then wake up with a reasonably amount of spirit light containers collected. But I should say, that this method isn't useful during most of the playtime but the time near the endgame. I hope that the creators do not "fix" it. It does not hurt the game, and I like that kind of "earnings" for players who are patient enough to look out for such a place in the game.

This reminds me of an exploit in Ratchet and Clank where you could use the Taunter to farm up to one million bolts in an hour. It was done by merely leaving Ratchet standing in place and using something to weigh down the fire button on the Controller. Basically you didn't have to do a thing.

This is a good recommendation after the patch!

For me, what I did was to warp to Baur's Reach, drop down to the small basin to the right, climb up on the snow, and waited for two enemies (the one on the top, and the one on the bottow) to respawn and die due to the Flash.

I applied the necessary shards, and in an hour I had around 12 000 spirit lights.

Fastest place I've found is the spirit trial in Baur's Reach. Just keep flying under the enemies that fall on you. They respawn REALLY fast and you'll find yourself with a steady stream of spirit light with the small cost of flying back and forth.

I got a pretty stress-free and risk-free strategy with pushing the Gorlek miner in the Baur's Reach into the abyss. It yields 44 Spirit Light per kill with the most recent patch, or a few hundreds per minute. Here's the guide I made with details https://youtu.be/yIAcl1Q7KhI.

I've found an afk-farming area, which yields about 1000 light in 4 minutes (I measured it with the video above), in the Luma Pools. Just swin in the basin below the small stair step, the rolling enemy will kill himself on the step and the fish on the flash ability, occasionally the second one as well. Which makes for a pretty sum.

You need to equip both Life and Energy Harvest to recover from flash drain and the fish's occasional attack.

Thx, this one was the best farming spot I could find to date. All the shield ogre farms only gave me 25 a pop every 10 seconds or so (by pushing them in water / off a cliff) as that seemed to have been patched out.

This method works even better with Flash, as you don't need to keep using the Arc and can reach the blob in the bottom of the screen.

Alternatively, if you want to afk rather than bow two Volatile Slimes, you can also find such spot at baur's reach windy cave section nearby the previous spot.
just put magnet, sticky, light harvest, bounty and turmoil on and youre good to go. half as good as active farming.

Vinipc's method is brilliant. You can drop down just a little (from the position Razno's video is hovering in) and reach the slime UNDERNEATH, killing three slimes at once. Just hover in the exact middle of the three.

Why make your life difficult by having to press all these buttons? You can use Sentry instead (or maybe Flash, didn't test that one).

Still I think my afk-method is better. 25% effectiveness, but 0% effort. Grab a coffee, come back, be rich.
