To the devs: Here's a clip of the bug happening: https://clips.twitch.tv/BlatantShakingBillTheThing
She tried warping back and forth, restarting the game, verifying Steam files, clearing other optional areas she had left uncleared, picked up and delivered other quests, but whenever she returns to that area, nothing. The Moki don't reappear, and no Kwolok to be found either. Just water that turns the screen black.
Edit: She exited her game straight after obtaining the feather the other day (the minute she obtained it after talking to Kwolok) and continued at the exact same spot after the patch. Ku and the Moki were missing when she ran back past that spot, and her quest still said "Fallen Friend: Find Ku" (but the quest marker itself was gone from her map). However, when she returned at a later point (after logging out and back in a few times), Ku and the Moki were present and the quest no longer said "Fallen Friend: Find Ku". I'm not sure when the "Find Ku" quest properly updated. After logging in yesterday, she directly went and delivered the quest "The Tree Keeper: Bring the Tree Keeper the bad news", and this is a clip of her running back past Ku and the Moki after delivering that quest (and you can see her active quest is still "Fallen Friend: Find Ku"): https://clips.twitch.tv/BoringIgnorantWeaselKeepo
Important note: When she resumed yesterday, the only main quest she had was "The Will of the Wisps". She was (and is still) missing all the main story quests to find the different wisps, even though she watched the cutscene displaying where the different wisps were located before she logged off before the patch. When she filters her map by Quests, only "The Will of the Wisps" is listed as a yellow quest. She doesn't have any quest markers for the different wisps on her map either, as she should've had. Her side-quests are listed and their map markers are appearing as they should though. She was luckily able to finish Baur's Reach and Mouldwood Depths, but the wisp map markers were missing in those zones too.
Edit 2: She tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game now, but the issue persists. She has completed every other zone possible now and found almost every secret, but is unable to progress the game because she can't finish Luma Pools. She just had to quit until this game breaking bug is fixed.
Edit 3: She had not obtained the medallion yet from the Moki when she went to trigger the event, if that helps. She tried going back to the event after receiving the medallion, but no change.
