Main Menu & Sign In issues

Edit: While I have marked a message as an answer, it's actually a work-around to one of the issues being discussed.

I tried to sign in to my Microsoft Account. The Login box acknowledged mouse inputs and the Escape Key but would not acknowledge keyboard letter, number, space, enter etc. inputs. (right-click opens a context menu)

When I mouse click Cancel the Login screen disappears and I am left looking at the fancy Main Menu background animating but with no menu visible. Pressing Escape instead of mouse clicking Cancel will correctly display the games Main Menu.

When I pressed B on the gamepad while there was no visible menu, the game quitted without warning (no confirmation).

This issue is reproducible and prevents me from Signing In to Microsoft Account.

This is, of course, not the greatest initial impression and it could very well be a compatibility issue with the upcoming May update to Windows 10 (I'm on Release Preview ring of Windows Insider).

I'm not even sure of what the advantages of signing in are, but I feel like it's worth reporting anyways since it is a legit issue.

I believe it syncs your Achievements from the Xbox version to here but that's it. Personally I would prefer to play again from scratch.

Of course... because you can right-click to open the context menu and click "Paste" (so the UI is entirely mouse driven). Regardless, the bug with the Main Menu permanently disappearing if you mouse-click Back is a notable issue.
