[BUG] final boss battle against Shriek

It's a small bug. I ended up alone on the platform after we kill each other.

In the last stand against Shriek we were both in a sliver of health and he gets me first so I die, but as I had the Thorn shard selected (Deal 50% of mele damage taken back to enemies) it seems that he dies too. So I instant revive and for a brief moment I see the life bar of Shriek at full (if you die in this part he appears with almost a third of his health) and then disappear, leaving me alone on the platform and no boss to be seen.
I couldn't get a video on the issue but here I am afterward jumping around without the boss showing up. I ended up closing and reopening the game and just restarted the fight from the beginning.
