Missing Wisp?
So i fought the Frog boss, and then made my way for the others, in the end it says i have 3 out of 4 wisps collected and i am missing the one from the frog boss i still have the quest "Find the Strength of the forest". Does anyone know why? I am currently completely stuck since i ran around everywhere there and i cant get the last whisp...

same problem

After beating Kwolok, did you follow him up the vines to the next area, or did you teleport away?
Rambo Mar 16, 2020 @ 4:45am
hmm I think i quit the game at the time ,,, and may have teleported ...
edit: not much to do now i'm at 81% of the game and cab't progress further because the last wisp is not count in my inventory and the quest is still up ..

After beating the boss it gives you the wisp and tells you got stronger and got "strength of the forest" shouldn't this count towards finishing quest?

I saw others reporting same problem and it seems because we all started luma pools earlier and cheesed the area using triple jumps and such..

You need to follow him up the vines to finish the quest.

I found what the issue here was for me: You have to follow a certain "path" when it comes to the progress in the game. Do not go to Luma pools until you do the silent woods part. Thats what broke it for me. I did luma pools before Silent Woods and got the actual "whisp quest" after i already beat kwolok. Imo they should not let you go to areas if the story doesnt let you.

I don't think so, you don't have to follow a specific path, the intention is to do them in the order you please. As the abilities you need for the area are given to you.

If you had to do them in a specific order why does it show all of them at once?

The only one you can't do right away is the one that requires the 4 wisps.

In my second playthrough I did the spider area before the frog area, but I made it through most of the frog area and decided to stop and go somewhere else since that boss is damned hard. I'm sure I could still fight him tho.

well, I guess this save is corrupted unless they update and fix it.

The only fix which they can do is to block players from coming to Luma Pools.

I think its a bug. the game is quite buggy.

I am sure you're supposed to be able to go to each area in pretty much any order you like.

To get to Luma Pools you need to glide, but some people are making their jump longer by spaming sword attack at the end and this is how they get there without the glide skill.

Before the wisp quest starts they get Kuros feather, so they are sequence breaking then.

So perhaps you are right, they should put a barrier up until the quest starts

I got there by bringing a fish near the cliff and bashed my way up

anyone got a save before entering door that require 4 wisps? :blissful_creep:

I have cleared Luma ponds to early and i even delivered the toads stupid charm as he was sitting next to it. I'm stuck as well.

I continuously realized I sequence broke pretty much every part of the game up until you get the wisp quest. I have so many bugs and erroneous map icons its just a bad joke at this point. I'm never gonna understand how you make a metroidvania game and don't even try to test sequence breaking. I haven't even been trying, I just see a hard jump and then do that hard jump figuring they'll put in at least 2 progressions blocks that require whatever you're missing. But if this game didn't become such a broken mess when you did it i would have sworn they wanted you to skip just about ever part in the game, because its always easy and obvious how to get past the progression blocks.

Maybe the devs don't give a damn about people who deliberately try to break things. That's the name of the action, after all. Sequence breaking. You broke part of the game. The rest of it may not work properly now.

This is the problem of being too clever without being smart as well.
