edit: not much to do now i'm at 81% of the game and cab't progress further because the last wisp is not count in my inventory and the quest is still up ..
After beating the boss it gives you the wisp and tells you got stronger and got "strength of the forest" shouldn't this count towards finishing quest?
I saw others reporting same problem and it seems because we all started luma pools earlier and cheesed the area using triple jumps and such..
If you had to do them in a specific order why does it show all of them at once?
The only one you can't do right away is the one that requires the 4 wisps.
In my second playthrough I did the spider area before the frog area, but I made it through most of the frog area and decided to stop and go somewhere else since that boss is damned hard. I'm sure I could still fight him tho.
The only fix which they can do is to block players from coming to Luma Pools.
I am sure you're supposed to be able to go to each area in pretty much any order you like.
To get to Luma Pools you need to glide, but some people are making their jump longer by spaming sword attack at the end and this is how they get there without the glide skill.
So perhaps you are right, they should put a barrier up until the quest starts
I continuously realized I sequence broke pretty much every part of the game up until you get the wisp quest. I have so many bugs and erroneous map icons its just a bad joke at this point. I'm never gonna understand how you make a metroidvania game and don't even try to test sequence breaking. I haven't even been trying, I just see a hard jump and then do that hard jump figuring they'll put in at least 2 progressions blocks that require whatever you're missing. But if this game didn't become such a broken mess when you did it i would have sworn they wanted you to skip just about ever part in the game, because its always easy and obvious how to get past the progression blocks.
This is the problem of being too clever without being smart as well.
