People jump infinite times in the air in spirite trials

I completed my second spirit trial today and had a look at the leaderboard. Then I was shocked that the top players can jump as many times as they want in the air. Are they cheaters or is there some kind of skill or glitch that allows you to do that?

Do you have triple jump shard? It helps immensely.

I saw that as well for the time trial near Watermill and was confused... Looks like a cheat tbh

Triple Jump Shard is disabled in the Trials. So we can assume its a cheat/trainer. To be honest, whatever the reward is for all Trials, i will skip it. I don't cheat, but some Trials are very frustrating and in the end i just said to myself screw this. No reward is worth this s*** (at least for me).

The reward is a bunch of Spirit Light, as I recall.

So i don't miss much. Too big of a hassle for just some Lights and an achievement.

There is a trick. While its countdown, press TAB and choose triple jump and ect perks.

Every time a game like this adds any kind of leaderboard, it is rendered meaningless almost immediately by cheaters.

I tried to open the skill wheel during countdown, didn't work.

I noticed in the first game that the top scorers had a time of 0. Cannot compete against that.

First time around you only race the AI spirit and get the spirit light for that. You don't have to bother racing other players after that.

I dont know why they are doing this. This mechanic is nice and they just want to ruin it for what? We can see their ghosts, so we alreaddy know that they cheated, they are losers and their result shouldnt count.

They could get a guy specifically to monitor the spirit race leaderboards and delete the scores that don't look legit, but I don't think there's much of a chance that's gonna happen.

New hackers just will keep coming. Welcome in PC world (In MK11 each week was event where you needed to gather points to get rewards. While playing on PS4 I menaged to get about 300 mln points after many hours during entire week of playing in game. On PC after 1 hours there was guy with 1 bln points).
