Fallen friend quest bug.
After completing the story quest and restarting the game i got the same quest but location is already open, ku is gone from a place where he should be and now i am stuck can't go further.
Steam / windows 10

Mine too !! i have finished fallen friend mission yet my main quest say "
Find Ku"

I've been having this issue too, I've actually completed the questline but it won't complete and can't move forward with the game. :/
I thought I was just missing something and don't like looking up guides so I didn't realise until after two days I did.

Still a problem....after I got separated from Ku, I warped out of the area and then went back. Ku is just nowhere to be found. I have the gust of wind power, but no floaty feather. Sucks I have to lose several hours of the game cause the bird is just not there
