no Exclusive fullscreen (workaround + dsr fix)

Dear moon studios, Unity added 3 kinds of fullscreen in 2018, please implement ExclusiveFullScreen.



Screen.SetResolution(Screen.width, Screen.height, FullScreenMode.ExclusiveFullScreen);

Screen.SetResolution(Screen.width, Screen.height, FullScreenMode.FullScreenWindow);

Screen.SetResolution(Screen.width, Screen.height, FullScreenMode.Windowed);


Game is built on il2ccp so i cannot just inject this myself.

for ORI DE i had to inject proper fullscreen with Kalidans Special K mod....

as a workaround to activate exclusive fullscreen


navigate with REGEDIT to

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Moon Studios\OriAndTheWilloftheWisps


And set Screenmanager Fullscreen mode_h3630240806 to 0

For DSR


set the

Screenmanager Resolution Use Native_h1405027254

to 0

and then you can manually set 4k settings
Screenmanager Resolution Height_h2627697771
Screenmanager Resolution Width_h182942802



Also set the game compatibility to Not use fullscreen optimizations

yes 100%. this makes the game run perfectly smooth cause vysnc actually works.

i mean, unless you like stuttering..

you can also set the game to use 4k DSR this way so you can have supersampled AA.



set the

Screenmanager Resolution Use Native_h1405027254

to 0

and then you can manually set 4k settings

Screenmanager Resolution Width_h182942802



if Moon studios had implemented proper fullscreen, none of what im complaining about would be necessary

What are your specs? I've not had any stuttering with vsync on.

i9 9900k, 2080

if you dont notice or dont have issues thats fine. but the fact of the matter is

vysnc will not tear or sync 100% properly
Dsr will not work at all

What contoller? That's weird! Are you using steam contoller settings ?
