My game crashes after that animation. I guess at least it's comforting that the problem is somewhat common

I'm very sad. Watching others play and enjoy it while having to just wait is pretty heartbreaking and depressing

A lot of us are waiting for a patch.

The issues I've seen here include game startup, game hanging, glitch sounds, no audio, HDR and V-sync problems, inconsistent frame rates, crashes. I'm sure there are more.

This project may have been rushed, unfortunately.

A lot more hyped, too. I don't think it helped. It's all very sad. Because i'm sure the dev team is very passionate about their game.

for all of our sake, i hope they sort it out sooner than later! Just to clarify... My game didn't "crash". It went from loading screen to black screen, then nothing.

Did you all check if the game use the correct GPU to run on if you have 2 different GPUS yet ? I have the same problem in some games I play before and it would fix it. I'm downloading the game and will check if I get same problem as you all soon
Update: Everything run fine for me whenI choose the correct GPU to run on with Nvdia settings so if you're in same case as me maybe try and see if it works for you ?

I remembered this is a Microsoft game.. and it turned out it has exactly the same issues I had with "Gears of War 5" and "Forza Horizon 4": you need to change volume settings from 24bit 48000Hz (or lower) to 24bit (or higher) 96000Hz and it will work.

Game worked for me this morning, after newest nvidia drivers it crashes during loading every time.

EDIT: Welp who would've guessed, reinstalling the nvidia drivers fixed the issue. Weird, since I had no problems playing other games.

JUST found this & I finally got the game to launch.... it is stuttering and choppy af at the moment, and wont go full screen (even in big picture mode) soooooo I guess we have to move onto the next fix lol -

Dear developers, why do I have to install the Unity game engine so that your game just turns on. If I had not been a developer myself, in my life I would never have thought of fixing a black screen like this when loading a game.
Life hack. Install the Unity engine. And the game will start !!!
