Will it be working with PS4 controller?
Cause it says on store page "Full Controller Support". Not sure what it means exactly

Don't think so because it's a MS Xbox title

Anyway you can use DS4Windows by Ryochan7 (forked from Jays2Kings/DS4Windows) https://github.com/Ryochan7/DS4Windows
I've found out it has lower latency than Steam build-in emulator while connected wirelessly

Full controller support mean you can use a controller for everything in-game
Partial support mean some feature will be only supported by keyboard/mouse, text-input like naming, chat for example

Why do ppl keep posting third party ♥♥♥♥ when steam has controller software there is zero reason to use third party software on steam games any more at least devs are putting in so you can chose what controller icon layout you want.

Pretty much if its on steam ps4 controller will work fine no issue
Yes. Steam has an integrated API for 360/X1/DualShock 3/DualShock 4 and Nintendo Switch Pro. You must enable it via big picture tho.

Steam build-in solution has much more latency with official Sony Wireless Adapter in wireless mode, so DS4Windows is still must have for DS4

As much as I would agree but the point of those 3rd party tool is that they have more customization option and features
So if one like to tinkering their dualshock4, go with DS4window, if you like simple plug-and-play and simple customization go with Steam

does the game has dualshock 4 buttons support?
wataru Mar 21, 2020 @ 10:52am
It's working great with DS4windows.

Sadly, all the button names ingame are from xbox controller. Though, it's pretty easy to remember where A/B/X/Y are on the dualshock 4.

i agree.. i don't have problems playing like that.. It's just ugly to play with another buttons icon. I have a dualshock because it's a great controller.. unfortunetly, not every game has DS buttons icons..

I played through the whole thing with a DS4 no problem. I don't mind the buttons most of the time because the layout is the same in my head regardless.

I have the Steam DS4 controller support enabled, but it still doesn't work for this game. A lot of the controls are swapped around and some just do nothing.

You can rebind the controller by downloading a preset text file from this guide for the DS4[gameplay.tips], and then put it in the Configuration files location as specified on PCGW[www.pcgamingwiki.com] (it's different locations for the Steam or MS Store version).

Im having the same problem, i can jump in the will of wisps and walk around but i can't dash. The previous game i had some issues but i could at least finish the game but the second one i cant get any of the other buttons to work D:

DS4 controller set up and everything... even tried a switch controller and that had the same out come... unless dashing comes later and im just having a moment

Because the steam version is piece of crap with confusing buggy layouts and latency delay. DS4windows has non of the issues. It's very easy to use and it has more advanced options like setting up your own deadzones, custom button bindings or you can even write your own scripts.

Sometimes you have to enable the controller drivers manually, because windows sometimes just disable drivers for no reason.
